Commentary:

I never planned on making a "Monkeys 2". Monkeys took up like 94.76% of my free time when I was making it. 2002-2003 was going to be the "year where John takes it easy".

But then, to be completely honest...Monkeys made me a lot of money. And there's nothing more satisfying then being paid for something you were going to do anyway.

So, halfway through the school year, with only the most commercial of intentions, I slipped back into that filmmaking class, and busted out a Monkeys 2: Fight the Future in half the time it took to make a Monkeys. And it's 6 minutes longer. And like 157.43% better. Which probably had something to do with the fact that we'd already made one movie, so we knew the basics. And the script was better. And the technical aspects were better. I haven't had a complete sentence in this paragraph for a long time. Until now.

You should check out the official site. Most of the content there is basically unchanged since the original Monkeys website. Which was, in all honesty, crap.

Or, if you like this movie so much that you want to pay money to see it with better quality and a crapload of extras, you can buy the new "Monkeys SuperDVD" at the Fire Assault Store. I'm not going to force you to or anything, but, well, I think you'd enjoy it.

Note: You need Quicktime to watch the Monkeys movies and Curse of the Wolf, because they're too long for YouTube's stupid size regulations.
